The investigation commission that is looking into the causes of the accident on July 2 has made a decision to stop the preparations for the planned Proton rocket launches from Baikonur," the source told Interfax news agency.
The next launch was set for July 20, he said, but the rocket, as well as the Briz-M upper stage rocket and the satellite Astra 2E that was to be carried into space were on Thursday being moved to storage.
Preparations for the launch of Astra 2E are expected to start at the beginning of August with a launch in early September.
The satellite then has to be tested before being handed over to SES, so all going well, Astra 2E should enter commercial service sometime during October.
This is not good news for SES, or the reputation of ILS.

Θα καθυστερησει ακομα η εκτοξευση του Astra 2E πιθανοτατα για αρχες Σεπτεμβριου !!!!! Ελπιζουμε να φτασει εκει που πρεπει αλλιως δυσκολη η ληψη για Ελλαδα του Αγγλικου πακετου !!!!
